Nonna Noni
Who We Are
Nonna Noni is based in the indigenous community of Makrahay, straight on the east coast of Taiwan in Taitung County, where the King Kong mountain touches the Pacific Ocean. Established in 2024, the rich soil provides a strong basis for our plants and trees to grow without the use of artificial fertilizers and pesticides. Our products are annually checked for traces of pesticides and we are in the process to become an official organic farm in the not too distant future. Since the farm is still in its start-up phase and our plants and trees are still young and growing our products range is still under development but we currently have already fermented noni juice, hydrosols from a variety of mainly local plants, tana powder and a variety of syrups available.

Fermented Noni Juice
Our noni juice is fermented for a minimum period of 6 months, to optimize its taste and potential. Although official research on its health benefits is inconclusive, noni is traditionally used in folk medicine for a range of ailments including hypertension, wound healing, diabetes, and cancer. Nowadays, Noni and its by-products has been reported to have positive effects for anti-aging, soft tissue repair, UV protection, anti-mental illness and anti-anxiety. In 2016, Noni was officially recognized by the European Union as a new food source for human consumption. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Our noni juice is bottled in 600 ml bottles, but currently in low supply.
Hydrosols
Our hydrosols are distilled using pure mountain water coming from the local mountains of Changbin. We use a variety of local plants for our hydrosols, depending on the season when the plants produce the strongest scent. We have hydrosols available made from Shell Ginger, Tana, Lime, Citronella Geranium, Rosemary and Indian Borage with other flavors added whenever available. The hydrosols are great as a refreshing spray for face and body as well as spraying in the room.
The hydrosols are available in 100 ml and 200 ml spraybottles.
Syrups
Syrups made of our plants are being sold in several restaurants and coffee shops along the East coast of Taitung.

Our hydrosols are also for sale at the King Kong shop of the Changbin Farmers association. Next to the 7-11 along highway 11 outside of Changbin town.
We occasionally visit farmer markets across Taiwan to introduce our products to a new audience.
